I have had the pleasure of knowing Dipanpreet Kaur for two years. Though she is young, she has the mental capabilities of someone much older than she is. In the short time I have known her we have developed a working relationship. She has consulted with me about her work, and I have given her honest criticism. She has taken this very seriously and with the kind of discipline that is needed for a writer. She absorbs what I have said, and she brings her own creativity to the changes.
Her poetry is enjoyable and very well written. She tackles topics that many poets never even think about. She goes beyond the usual thoughts about them and brings us to another level of understanding. I feel her ability to internalize and synthesize the thoughts of others with her own will be very helpful to her in her future writing. Right now, her writing is clear, and she conveys her own thoughts in her poetry.
In the time I have been working with Ms. Kaur, she has always been very respectful and goes beyond what is asked of her to do. She is always ready to take a new suggestion and thinking ahead to her next project. She has the ability to gather people to review her work as seen by the many reviews in both of her books, because it is at such a high level. At the age of sixteen she has published two books and is working on a third one.
Her work ethic is quite amazing for someone her age. She has even helped with administering contests for the Facebook page. I have great confidence that she can handle anything that comes her way with dignity and aplomb. With her discipline and confidence along with her empathy for other people, she will be an asset to any institution that has the pleasure of accepting her.
As a former teacher, I will add this one other thing about Ms. Kaur, she is one of the best students I have ever had. She takes criticism as I said before, with such maturity and she is always so appreciative of any help she can get.

(H.O.D ENGLISH) Mount St. Mary’s School
I had the pleasure of teaching English to Dipanpreet in her 11th and 12th Grades at Mount Saint Mary’s School. From the first day of class, Dipanpreet impressed me with her ability to articulate her thoughts and opinions on interesting and difficult concepts and ideas. She displayed sensitivity to the nuances of literature, and a passion for reading, writing, and creative expression- both in and out of the classroom. Dipanpreet is a talented literary critic and poet, and she has my highest recommendation as a student and writer.
Dipanpreet is talented and skilful in comprehending and appreciating the subtleties of literature and the purpose behind authors’ works. She is dedicated to her literary pursuits, especially to poetry. She has published her 2 poetry books ‘My Mind’s Shadow’ and ‘The Opera’ in recent years. These 2 books are available worldwide on online portals. She also won 1st position in the Inter- House Creative Writing Competition held in our school in 2021. Many of her poems have been published in an E magazine – www.bharathvision.info. Also, she is one of the semi-finalists in ‘Grow Your Buds – Poetry Rendition Contest 2021’ held internationally by Motivational strips – the World’s most Active Literary Forum. Additionally, many of her poems have been awarded as the ‘Gogyohka Poem of the Week’ award in the digital poetry forum Gogyohka USA.
So, I can say that she is an insightful, sensitive, and deeply self-aware individual driven to explore art, writing, and developing a deeper understanding of the human condition. Throughout the year, Dipanpreet was an active participant in school discussions, and she always supported her peers. Her caring nature and personality allow her to work well with others in a team setting. Moreover, she has demonstrated openness and empathy for the opinions, feelings, and perspectives of others, all qualities that makes her outstanding as a student of literature and burgeoning writer.
I am certain that Dipanpreet is going to continue to do great and creative things in her future. I highly recommend her for admission to your undergraduate program. She is talented, caring, intuitive, dedicated, and focused in her pursuits. Dipanpreet consistently seeks out constructive feedback so she can improve her writing skills, which is a rare and impressive quality in a high school student. Dipanpreet is truly a stand-out individual who will impress everyone she meets. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions at Msmschool1963@gmail.com

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to dear Dipanpreet Kaur for her kind gesture in forwarding me her second book, “THE OPERA”, which came together with a beautiful shawl. I am honoured by her request that I write a review of her beautiful book.
Book Review
Ms Dipanpreet Kaur is a young and talented author who has a very remarkable style of writing. Her second book, “THE OPERA,” is written with excellent thoughts and imagery. After flipping through the pages, I noticed that she delves deeply into a love for poetry, which I realised is the heart of her passion, her spring of love. Her book of poetry, “THE OPERA,” comprises numerous poems depicting her great desire as a writer and her love for literature. Literature is a source of education and acts as a form of expression for each individual writer. She has successfully displayed the art of poetry in many of her poems and has mastered the skill of poetry writing to touch and entice the readers. Her poetic lines are impressive in their elegance, simplicity, depiction, and expression.
Each poem is splendidly written with a beautiful blend of rhyme and rhythm in poetic form par excellence. Her creative writing and well-chosen words and verses are superb. It goes with a melodious flow. Beautiful images, profound meanings, phrases and concepts created by the author play a key role in capturing the readers’ attention. Many of the poems in this book show her sense of maturity, even though she is still a teenager. She has a great depth of thought in her writing across numerous genres of poetry.
Her feelings and passion for literature are expressed in one of her poems “My Literature Therapy.” Here is an excerpt from the poem.
“Computer science always gave me a headache, Thence, I didn’t study it for my well being sake. But during the literature lessons in school, I was stuck to my seat as if literature was some magnetic tool. Whenever my teacher taught literature subject, I was instantly driven to the world of dreams effect”.
These lines reveal her in-depth passion for poetry and her ability to pen her true feelings, thoughts and emotions through her writing.
Another poem that captivates me is “Fashion and Poetry”. She has brilliantly made a good comparison between a fashion designer and a poet. It discloses her strength in conveying messages and analytical ability.
“A fashion designer designs dazzling dresses, Using the finest quality of clothing pieces. The poet also designs incredible poetries, By choosing the best concerns from all categories”.
Author Dipanpreet Kaur has a natural talent for writing. Through her poems, she emphasises and believes in the power of the pen. This young author has the potential to soar to greater heights in the field of literature. You will find the book very delightful and inspiring to read. May she continue to write and flourish in her literary journey.
